Hello, I'm Khoa.

My name is Khoa Nguyen and I am the Counselor/Coordinator for the Transfer Center at De Anza College. I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2013, a Master of Arts in Counseling with an emphasis in Health Psychology from Santa Clara University in 2016, and a Master of Science in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Walden University in 2018. As a counselor, I am here to assist students in their growth and development by constructing meaningful educational plans which are compatible with their life goals. I am also here to support and serve as a resource for students as well as to act as a sounding board for various concerns. It is my goal to foster the development of well-rounded students who are self-directed, motivated, responsible decision-makers and to encourage the successful completion of degree requirements and timely graduation.
